P .I.G. A. Program
Our Training Program revolves around our knowldge that the Golf Swing although quite individual still follows fundamental parameters for learning, from our Little Tigers to P.I Tour Students the process for learning the golf swing will be the same only the level of training and the elements we use for each individual and each group may differ. Certainly the human body will not change greatly from person to person just the persons ability to make it work properly will change.
We also understand that an individuals concept of training and play will vary from person to person and this will be the catalyst for a students development process. We will guide, instruct, push, prod and motivate our students but at the end of the day it will always be up to you.
The 7 key Positions
We use the 7 key positions as our base for training the golf swing this is where we will begin our training, starting with The Grip and Setup, The Half Way Back Position, Top of the back Swing, The Loading Position, Impact, Half Way Forward Position and then the Finish Position.
We will check and then document all of these elements for each student thus creating a clear understanding of each students capacity to make a correct movement. Using Video Analysis and the Training Book we will be able to create an ongoing story of development for students and coaches.
All students of P.I.G.A will have access to the Training Manual and Training Book for daily evaluations and appraisals of current form, for those students who play within the program a Play Book will be made available also.
